SEXUAL MANIAC - SHITFUCKER
The early Nomads.
Initially the ‘Nomad’ chapter of Black Power, the group broke away in 1977 - disillusioned by Black Power’s attempts to move in a more positive direction. With this genesis it is not surprising, perhaps, that they gained a fearsome reputation, largely in the lower North Island. Much of this reputation rested on the leadership of Dennis ‘Mossie’ Hines, who had a legitimate claim to the title of New Zealand’s toughest gangster. Hines died of cancer in early 2009, and despite some internal conflict after his death, the Nomads continue to be a significant part of New Zealand’s gang landscape.
